The young professional Genge rapper who celebrates his birthday in May was born James Wathigo and Jimwat is brought out from the two names. Jimwat was brought up in Kabete after clearing high school he joined Calif records where he recorded his debut single Sema nami sweety but he got his first break into the game with the single Under 18.

Jimw@t aka a.k.a Jimwizzy is back and fresher than ever for 2009 with a brand new single called Fallin in Love, which speaks volumes on his constant grind and ability to craft hits. On this track, which is featured on the streets are mine part 3 with Dan Mixa! Jimwat talks about “Fallin in love” in a humorous and crafty way. He is a lyricist who always incorporates humor and crazy punchlines in his music, making his songs street anthems.
