Music artists are known to draw inspiration from various objects and practices before stepping into the recording studio or even on stage for live performances. Recently the trend is beginning to be noticed with our very own Godfather of Genge, Nonini and His P-unit Crew.

What seems to be a wooden zebra with a crack across the neck region is prominently present at every Nonini and P-unit show. The zebra is usually placed on stage, first in front of him and later behind him as he performs. The sculpture has even been noticed sharing drinks with his P-Unit entourage on bar counters before and after performances.

Is that Zebra just part of his image and branding ama what?” A fan was overheard asking during Nonini’s onstage performance at Nairobi’s Carnivore Restaurant.

Mtaatv is still investigating this matter to uncover more!
